Senior Prom

Braiden’s last Prom has come and gone. He said he had a lot of fun with his girlfriend Hallie. For the day date they went to the aquarium and ate at Height’s house for dinner. The Prom was at the lavender fields in Mona. 

Bar Muscle Up

Last week Anthony got his first bar muscle up. Unfortunately I didn’t have my phone out to record it but I did today. He got his second one today. I think he was super proud of himself. 

Senior Pictures

 Braiden’s senior pictures came back from Asia. I think they turned out really good. We took them on Provo Center St. She even gave us 2 polaroid photos on the spot. Hailee went with Braiden to find the outfits and he didn’t even complain about changing mid session. 

Slugfest

Tyler was on fire this weekend with multiple singles and 3 doubles over 4 games. They went 2 for 2 just missing the championship by one game. He did phenomenal catching and while at first base. He had the best batting average out of the whole team. Super proud of him. 

Opening Senior Season

Braiden's final high school year has come. It came up on us so fast. He secured the starting catcher spot and we couldn't be more excited to watch his final year of high school baseball.

 

Last Saint George Tournaments of the season

Braiden played 4 games with Maple Mountain High School this weekend. 

Thursday 3/14 MMHS vs Desert Hills 

Loss 6-9

Maple Mountain struggled to keep up with Desert Hills Thursday. Braiden caught the entire game and did fantastic behind the plate but struggled at the plate. The umpires definitely didn’t do us any favors and at one point forgot what the pitches were that he called. Braiden caught someone running home but didn’t get the correct call. It was hard to see the boys fight and not be able to shut them down. 

Friday 3/15 MMHS vs Green Canyon

Win 10-6

Braiden and Blake were on the mound and behind the plate. They were a fantastic duo. It was fun watching them work together to secure the win. 

MMHS vs Richfield 

Win 2-11

Braiden sat out this game since he caught two days in a row. Knowing this we left to go catch Tyler’s game in Hurricane. 

Saturday 3/16 MMHS vs Burley ID

Win 9-2

Braiden was again behind the plate. He didn’t surprise us with his ability to call pitches and be a wall. We quickly learned that no one tries to steal on him. Even one of his teammates said he should tank his throw down in warmups to get them to attempt a steal. Braiden said absolutely not. He struggled again at the plate. Which frustrated him more than anyone else. 

After the games Braiden chose to ride the bus home with the team. 

Friday 3/15 Mavericks vs DC Union 

Loss 2-6

Tyler caught the game. He also struggled at the plate and a little behind. The entire team seemed to have been off. The weather was cold and raining which didn’t help. 

Mavericks vs Titans Baseball 

Win 2-11

Tyler played first base and some at third. He had zero errors in the field but still struggled at the plate.

At the end of the day we stopped by Tre Eyre’s Provo vs Springville game to watch some of him playing.
